Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our team. As a Food Runner, you will be responsible for delivering food orders from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely and efficient manner. Your role is crucial in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and accurately.

Duties:

- Retrieve food orders from the kitchen and deliver them to the appropriate tables or designated areas

- Ensure that each dish is presented in an appealing manner and matches the order specifications

- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication and coordination

- Assist with food preparation tasks, such as garnishing plates or assembling appetizers, as needed

- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including clearing tables and resetting them for the next guests

- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining experience for our guests

Experience:

- Previous experience in a culinary or food service role is preferred

- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment is a plus

- Knowledge of guest service principles and practices in a hotel or restaurant setting

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests, servers, and kitchen staff

- Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple orders simultaneously

Job Type: Seasonal

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
