FAR Chemical is Hiring a Chemical Operator Near Palm, FL
FAR Chemical of Palm Bay, FL is currently hiring for a dedicated full-time Chemical Process Operator to operate, monitor, and maintain chemical plant. Openings on all three (3) shifts available. We are chemical manufacturing industry leaders.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Responsible for complying with all environmental regulations including hazardous waste
- Ensure hazardous waste containers are properly labeled, covered, and staged
- Using information on work order and batch sheets, collects all required materials and measures or weighs as required for proper formulation
- Work from written, verbal or visual instructions
- Load chemical process equipment with necessary materials
- Observe rate of speed and process to insure proper operation
- Observe and follow all safety related procedures while in the work environment
- Gather raw materials
- Check completed batches for compliance with formulation specifications
- Make minor mechanical adjustments or assess malfunctions and notify supervisor
- Observe and follow all safety related procedures while in the work environment
- Drive a forklift
