Job Description

As a valued colleague on our team, you will assist with risk monitoring and reviews for the organization, coordinate risk mitigation activities, and provide risk mitigation assistance to other groups.
THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE

The Book Portfolio Credit Risk Analyst - Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

  • Assist team with monitoring and identifying risks to our portfolio through data analysis.
  • Assist with coordinating risk activities across groups.
  • Report on risks and participate in developing solutions.
  • Support team with risk mitigation strategies.
  • Carry out tasks to avoid risks or mitigate their impact.

Qualifications

THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
Desired Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent; advanced degree in related area (e.g. quantitative finance, economics, statistics, etc.) preferred.
  • Understand credit risk as well as experience analyzing portfolio characteristics, identifying risk drivers, and proposing risk mitigation solutions. 
  • Credit risk modeling and stress testing experience a plus.
  • Experience with data analysis and utilizing data to identify trends or relationships to provide insights and inform decisions based on sound analysis. Experience gathering accurate information to explain rationale and answer critical questions.
  • Experience monitoring, forecasting, and measuring credit risk, conducting risk assessments, and identifying gaps in existing risk monitoring frameworks.
  • Strong skills in data query and processing using such tools as SQL, Python, R or SAS.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Skilled in graphical representation of information using charts, diagrams, and dashboards with programs and tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI. Proven ability to present information and ideas to audiences in a compelling way that is engaging and easy to understand.
  • Demonstrated relationship management skills with the ability to manage and engage stakeholders and build relationship networks. Able to effectively work with individuals having a different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively while working toward a common goal. 
  • Experience in influencing including persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict to improve or correct performance to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Skilled in Tableau, Excel
  • Experience with SQL, Python, R, SAS
