Responsibilities

• Prepare GL account reconciliations and drive resolution on any variances
• Prepare and record daily and monthly journal entries in the company’s ERP system
• Analyze account balances, identify trends, and recommend actions
• Act as a business processes subject matter expert related to key accounting processes (including GL accounts and transaction flow)
• Drive process improvement and efficiency in daily and monthly accounting activities
• Assist in creating and updating accounting policies in line with US GAAP
• Assist in implementing, maintaining and improving internal controls over financial reporting, in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley
• Prepare ad hoc financial reporting requests, other analyses and special projects, as needed
• Support external audit and tax preparation
• Coach and mentor junior team members

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field required
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent preferred
• Experience with Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, or similar ERP system preferred
• 3 years of relevant work experience in public accounting, corporate accounting or related function
• Solid knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls (SOX) and technical accounting
• Ability to identify, communicate, and resolve accounting issues, risks, and opportunities 
• Strong analytical and interpersonal communication skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint)
• Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
