JOB SUMMARY:
The Production Specialist 3 is essential to the manufacturing and packaging of high-quality fan merchandise. Under general supervision, the Production Specialist 3 will work individually or as part of a team that will finish or produce a large volume of product using an automated machine or work center. May include manual set up including prepping and loading raw materials, inks or other finishing components. May be required to adjust settings/speed or otherwise complete basic troubleshooting during the run. Generally, a physically demanding role that requires keeping pace with a machine or line. Will be responsible for finishing and/or packaging items, following written instructions per individual order. The successful athlete must be able to accurately count correct quantities, inspect and report quality issues and consistently follow customer specification within order instructions. Production Specialist Athletes will be assigned in varying work centers and it is essential that they are able to read their schedule and report to the correct work center on time for each scheduled shift.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
OReads and follows specific instructions given on shop packets.
OUtilizes FMS to accurately document work processes such as the check out and in of work orders and/or materials.
OAccurately counts and coordinates materials required to produce each order according to specifications.
OUtilize a wide variety of simple manual-feed tools requiring manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
OBoxes, bags, packages and labels a variety of products based on customer specifications.
OPerforms daily and weekly preventative maintenance to equipment, such as cleaning and oiling as required.
OPerforms basic equipment set up such as adjusting settings, changing needles, and basic disassemble/reassemble.
OPerforms general housekeeping and department six sigma activities.
OAdheres to all Department and Company Standards, Operating Procedures and Safety Requirements.
OTreats others with respect and conducts themselves in a positive and inclusive manner daily.
OPerforms other duties as assigned.
EDUCATIONAL & Experience REQUIREMENTS:
OHigh School Diploma or Equivalent
GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
OClose attention to detail
OUnderstand written instruction
OMechanical knowledge sufficient to make equipment adjustment using hand tools.
OAbility to complete basic technology applications / basic computer aptitude
OGood hand dexterity and hand-eye coordination
OAbility to complete repetitive machine operation tasks
OAbility to read shop packets and follow instruction
OAbility to count accurately, complete accurate measurements, and complete mathematical computations
OAbility to inspect materials and finished products for defects
OAbility to learn and apply accurate PMS Color matching knowledge
OMaintain current certifications:
oPIT
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
