FAMSA is Hiring a Branch CSR - FT - K225 Near Dallas, TX

Evaluate, authorize, and approve loans. Advise borrowers on financial status and methods of payments. Act as liaison between customer and our financial institution and help qualified applicants acquire loans in a timely manner.

  • Approve loans within specified limits and refer loan applications outside those limits to management for approval.
  • Help applicants to obtain information for loan applications and to answer questions about the process.
  • Analyze applicants' financial status, credit, and work history to determine feasibility of granting loans.
  • Explain to customers the different types of loans and credit options that are available, as well as the terms of those services.
  • Obtain and compile copies of loan applicants' credit histories, financial statements, and other financial information.
  • Review and update credit and loan files.
  • Review loan agreements to ensure that they are complete and accurate according to policy.
  • Compute payment schedules.
  • Stay abreast of new types of loans and other financial services and products in order to better meet customers' needs.
  • Submit applications to credit analysts for verification and recommendation to the Branch Manager or Management office.
  • Handle customer complaints and take appropriate action to resolve them.
  • Work with clients to identify their financial goals and to find ways of reaching those goals.
  • Negotiate payment arrangements with customers who have delinquent loans.
  • Analyze potential loan markets and develop referral networks in order to locate prospects for loans.
  • Prepare reports to send to customers whose accounts are delinquent, and forward irreconcilable accounts for collector action.
  • Provide friendly excellent customer service to our customers in person and over the phone
  • Take loan application and processes for approval/denial
  • Receive and post payments
  • Maintain and balance cash drawer daily
  • Maintain daily delinquency reports
  • Service past due accounts with dignity and respect to our customers and build solutions
  • Make daily bank deposits
  • Call approved and unmade application to close loan
  • Maintain compliance with policies and procedures
  • Network within the community to find and attract new customers
  • Maintain an organized, clean and professional work environment
  • Work closely with other team members and manager to obtain branch goals
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • 1-year customer service experience from any industry
  • Basic computer skills and be able to operate a calculator
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a reliable vehicle and valid proof of insurance
  • Ability to speak English and Spanish preferred
  • Stable work history
  • Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record and reliable transportation
