We are a well-established private optometry practice with an outstanding reputation for excellence in patient care, and we are looking for someone to join our team!
We are currently searching for a friendly, enthusiastic person with an exceptional attention to detail and a can-do attitude to assist with front office and receptionist duties. Duties include but not limited to: answering multi-line phone system, greeting patients, scheduling appointments, checking patients in, accurately entering patient information, verifying and explaining insurance benefits to patients, etc. Duties may also include checking patients out, collecting payment, and assisting our optical specialist in the dispensary as needed.
The ideal candidate must be polished, professional, and possess outstanding people skills. We need someone with a true desire to help others, a neat and clean appearance, and the ability to handle a fast-paced environment with calmness, maturity, a positive attitude, and a smile! We are a very strong team – so understanding what it means to be a team player, working well with others, and a willingness to assist co-workers with whatever is necessary to ensure the office continues to run smoothly and efficiently to maximize patient care are an absolute must. Previous experience in an optometric or medical office preferred; knowledge of Eyefinity and Solutionreach a plus.
