Family Therapy Consultation Services is Hiring a Behavior Technician Near Spotswood, NJ

Family Therapy and Consultation Services (FTxCS) has been providing counseling and behavioral services for children and families in New Jersey since 2004. Over the years we have developed an incredible behavioral team to provide services for children and families in the fifteen counties that we serve.

Currently we are hiring behavior technicians (BT's) for our ABA Program.

The position is a fee-for-service (per diem) opportunity to help youth with behavioral challenges and their families in the home and community setting. The schedule is extremely flexible, and you can take on as many clients as you would like (We do not have a minimum or maximum).

***Applicants must have experience with individuals with developmental disabilities***

Responsibilities:

*Provide Behavioral support and assessment to address underlying challenges, manage crisis and assist families to build sustainable support networks that will maintain changes made;
*Provide case management to link with needed services and pro-social activities;
*Provide advocacy and teach family members advocacy skills to improve relations with schools, human services and juvenile justice agencies on behalf of clients;
*Complete all required documentation in a timely manner;
*Represent program in community;
*All other related duties as assigned.

Requirements: Behavioral Technicians
* High School Diploma; or
* GED AND;
* At least three years of supervised experience in implementing behavior support plans for
youths who have intellectual/developmental disabilities ****must be conveyed on resume
*OR *
* Bachelor’s degree in psychology, special education, guidance and counseling, social work or a related field AND;
* At least one year of supervised experience in implementing behavior support plans for
youths who have intellectual/developmental disabilities ****must be conveyed on resume

All Candidates Must Have:
* Valid driver’s license, insurance, and registration
* Child Abuse, TB Test, CARI Check, and Criminal Background Clearance

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour
