Family Services of Westchester (FSW) provides mental health and social services that strengthen and support families, children and individuals at every stage of their lives. With 50 innovative programs, FSW serves 30,000 individuals annually in Westchester County, New York. Family Services of Westchester’s seven Family Mental Health Program Centers are licensed by the New York State Office of Mental Health to offer comprehensive mental and behavioral health services at convenient locations throughout Westchester County.

Family Services of Westchester is currently seeking a Bilingual Clinician for the Family Mental Health Program in the Sleepy Hollow Washington Irving Intermediate School.

POSITION TITLE: Bilingual Mental Health Clinician
STATUS: Full-time
SUPERVISED BY: Program Director
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Bilingual clinician/Spanish speaking able to provide mental health services to students and their families in our school based program
• Work as a team with the School Counselors, Psychologist, Social Workers and Adm.
• Complete intake package, assessments, progress notes, psychosocials and Tx plans.
• Provide referrals as needed, as well as connections with community services.

REQUIREMENTS:

• LMSW, LMHC, or LCSW preferred with current New York State registration and license or corresponding degree
• Outstanding clinical, assessment, and diagnostic skills
• Proficient in the use of computers, and specifically with electronic medical records
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a culturally diverse population
• Team-focused collaborator
• Excellent interpersonal skills both verbally and in writing
• Highly organized, self–directed
• Engaged in learning and continuous quality improvement
• Resilient
