As our Director of Aging Services, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and advancing our commitment to providing accessible services that address common needs of aging populations and advocating for the creation of age-friendly communities.In this role you will develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance aging adult services, aligning with organizational goals and industry best practices. You will provide leadership to a multidisciplinary team, including service coordinators, administrative staff, and volunteers. You will have opportunities to collaborate with community partners, government agencies, and stakeholders to advocate for aging adults and address systemic issues affecting their well-being. You will oversee the delivery of diverse programs such as chore services, nutrition, care giving support, respite, and transportation services.You will ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards and funding requirements, maintaining a high-quality service delivery and ethical practices in addition to monitoring program outcomes and performance metrics by utilizing data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement. You will oversee the budgetary responsibilities, allocate resources efficiently and pursue funding opportunities to sustain and expand aging adult services.Successful candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in social work, public health, gerontology, or related field, a master’s degree is preferred. Proven experience in leadership and management within aging adult services, healthcare or social services settings is required.Our ideal candidate has a deep understanding of issues affecting aging populations, including healthcare access, social isolation, caregiver support and dementia care along with strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and build community partnerships. A demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic plans, drive organizational change, and adapt to evolving needs and priorities is preferred.
