SUMMARY
The Family Service League is seeking a part-time Transportation Aide for a homeless shelter in Brentwood. The Transportation Aide will be responsible fornavigating and assisting students and parents with the morning bus procedures. The Transportation Aide will work collaboratively with clients, educational and recreational program staff, case management, Department of Social Services (DSS), school districts, and school transportation offices. Additionally, the Transportation Aide will offer guidance and support to families, foster positive relationships, and provide safe supervision of children.
**$1,500 Sign-On Bonus!**
RESPONSIBILITIES
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in Human Services or related field.
Knowledge of the homeless population preferred.
Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, required.
Excellent organizational and time management skills required.
Valid and clean NYS Driver’s License required.
Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
Early morning availability required. Monday through Friday 6am to 10am.
