Family Service Agency is Hiring a Bilingual Psychotherapist Near Salinas, CA

FAMILY SERVICE AGENCY OF THE CENTRAL COAST

Position: Bilingual Psychotherapist -

Location: Salinas/Watsonville

Hours: 20-40 per week.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are actively seeking a compassionate and dedicated therapist, either Licensed or Associate MFT or Clinical Social Worker, to join our team in a mission-critical role within our Counseling and Suicide Prevention Program. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in providing individual, couple, and family therapy while demonstrating expertise in crisis intervention and suicide prevention. This position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact within a diverse general outpatient population, working out of our Salinas and Watsonville locations.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BBS Registered Licensed or Associate Marriage and Family Therapist or Clinical Social Worker.
  • Able to use Electronic Health Records (EHR), and/or learn EHR (training provided)
  • Willing to provide in-person and or telehealth therapy sessions to clients
  • Experience and/or willingness to learn and provide counseling via Telehealth
  • Ready to obtain Medicare and/or MediCal approval upon hire
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Open-minded, non-judgmental, fair, compassionate
  • Responsible, dependable, punctual, courteous
  • Self-directed and able to work independently as well as collaborate with others
  • Experience providing psychotherapy services to a diversity of populations
  • Willingness to work with clients who may be suicidal (Training provided).

Family Service Agency of the Central Coast (FSA) is a well-established non-profit mental health and wellness agency whose collection of services include outpatient counseling, 988 suicide crisis line, suicide prevention services, mobile crisis response, senior services program, support for women with cancer and support program for victims of childhood sexual abuse.

Our team of dedicated therapists includes licensed clinicians, registered associates, and masters-level trainees, who share a commitment to serving low and middle-income clients from all walks of life. Our main office is in downtown Santa Cruz, with a second in Soquel. Therapy sessions are conducted via telehealth or in person at the client's preference.

Job Type:

  • Full or Part-time, 20-40 hours per week

Pay:

  • $32 - $40 hour $3 Bilingual Differential
