FREE currently has an exceptional opportunity for a Mental Health Recovery Coach, to provide quality clinical and counseling services to the individuals who attend PROS. Recovery Coaches assist with admissions, assessments, group and individual therapy while working with the individuals on their caseload to move them forward on the life goals. You will work as part of an interdisciplinary team within PROS and may participate in committees, work groups and other partnerships external to the program.

Specifically, you will:

• Supervise the implementation of individualized plans/programs, record progress and initiate periodic reviews with a caseload of approximately 12-18 individuals.
• Provide 1:1 and group therapy.
• Complete various assessments integral to the development of treatment plans.
• Work with the people we support and other members of the interdisciplinary team to develop service plans that aid the person in achieving their personal life goals.
• Work in partnership with the people we support to ensure that their rights, health, safety and personal outcomes are being supported at all times.
• Assist the people we support to overcome barriers and challenges to establish and maintain a network of relationships and valued social roles.
• Supervise interns in a task and/or clinical role and monitors services provided.
• Coordinate CQL activities within the program.
• Develop and initiate curriculums to meet the needs of the individuals within the program.
• Ensure that all required documentation is completed /processed appropriately and in a timely manner.
• Provide field-based treatment in the community and individual’s home.

We require:

• Master’s Degree in Mental Health/Social Work/Social Services Related Field (licensure preferred)
• Experience with the mental health population preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment with flexibility, keeping others informed and anticipating needs is essential
• Must be efficient, well organized, and have excellent communication skills
• Valid NYS Driver License and satisfy criteria to be a driver for FREE preferred
