Inventory Accountant

Position Type: Full-time

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a qualified and experienced Inventory Accountant to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented inventory accountant to enter and monitor the major unit inventory of across our dealerships. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of hands-on experience in accounting, with a strong background in account reconciliation. We are looking for an individual that is organized, detail-oriented and possess the ability to effectively work both independently and in a team setting. It is also important that the candidate have strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. The position will be working in our office in Lexington, KY.

Responsibilities:

• Input inventory invoices for multiple dealership locations.
• Warrant register inventory sold with the manufacturer.
• Assist with monthly inventory floor plan reconciliations.
• Communicate regularly with sales and other accounting staff on inventory transfers between locations.
• Assist with special projects from management as needed.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in accounting or related field
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and regulations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Team player with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Education:

• Associate’s degree in accounting, business, or a related field
