About the Opportunity:

Family Pet Hospital is seeking a talented and compassionate Associate Veterinarian (DVM)
to join our vibrant small animal veterinary practice. We welcome those interested in companion animal medicine with or without an interest in exotic species.

Family Pet Hospital is not your average veterinary practice. We are a busy full service
facility located in Sunset Hills, MO, comprised of animal enthusiasts dedicated to providing individualized care for our community’s pets since 2011. As an independent, Veterinarian owned and operated business, we are proud to have a focus on patient care.

passion for high-quality medicine.

Our Clinic & Services:

Our modern and well-equipped hospital has all the tools necessary to address the medical
and surgical needs of our patients. We offer comprehensive services including preventative
medicine, blood analysis, digital radiography, hand-held ultrasound capability, dental procedures, and more.

It is also worth noting that we completed a hospital expansion in 2023 to provide better accommodations for our team, clients, and patients. We now have a break room that includes a kitchen and plenty of additional space to enjoy!

Team & Culture:

Family Pet Hospital is currently a two-doctor practice backed by a practice manager and wonderful, experienced support team. We are growing and have the space and resources for supporting four to five doctors in the future. We have been able to develop a joyful and exciting environment as we stay busy attending to our clients and patients. Together our mission is to provide quality individualized, consistent care for all of our patients.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

Your mission, should you choose to accept:

• Provide compassionate and high quality medical care to our diverse patient population
• Collaborate with a team of experienced and compassionate professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes our patients
• Utilize in-house diagnostics to make accurate and timely diagnosis
• Perform surgeries and dental procedures as needed
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing them with the information and support they need to make informed decisions about their pets’ health

Requirements of this position include:

• DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school (Fourth years are welcome to apply)
• Missouri license in good standing
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
