The Director will have the primary responsibility of developing, planning, and supervising mental health services to improve quality of life for clients suffering from mental disorders. They will represent their agency by answering any questions posed by clients, families, staff, government officials, or the greater public. The Individual will supervise all social service and healthcare staff tasked with helping clients deal with mental health or substance abuse problems. The Director will be ambitious, and growth minded, our goal is to expand and open more locations in WV. The Individual will report to the Director of Operations and the CEO. You will also oversee the Peer Recovery and the DUI program.
Education and Training
The Director must possess a master?s degree or higher in psychology, social work, clinical professional counseling, or other relevant mental or behavioral health field. A minimum of three to five years of relevant experience in an administrative capacity will be required.

? Hands-on skills in dealing with computer systems such as EMR
Responsibilities
? Design and implement business strategies to assist the clinic to realize business goals
? Oversee the compliance with legal policies, guidelines, and standards
? Ensure the clinics have sufficient and qualified personnel
? Organize and run all patient care or administrative operations and programs
? Ensure all medical records and other documentation are current and within state and federal laws
? Perform annual employee reviews and provide feedback on their performance to help motivate their dedication to professional goals
? Plan and manage the clinic?s budget and approve payroll
? Act as a connection between patients, their families, and the counselors.
Work Environment
Most commonly, the Director works at least 40 hours a week during regular business hours, but they may need to work in the evenings, depending on the agency?s hours of operation. Sometimes the Director may need to be on call after hours or during the weekend for emergencies.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of clients/employees of the organization.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Preferred but not required LICSW, LPC or Licensed Psychologist
