Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Infant Teacher with a valid State of California Commission on Teacher Credentialing Teacher's Permit to join our team.

The Infant Teacher will be responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for infants aged six weeks to 18 months in accordance with the goals and curriculum plan of Family Matters program.

Responsibilities:

• Create a safe and stimulating environment that promotes the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of infants.

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and curriculum for infants in accordance with the center's philosophy and policies.

• Provide individualized care and attention to meet the unique needs of each infant.

• Establish positive and supportive relationships with infants, families, and coworkers.

• Communicate regularly with parents to provide updates on their child's progress and development.

• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.

• Adhere to all licensing regulations and standards, as well as company policies and procedures.

• Participate in professional development opportunities and staff meetings as required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.

• Valid Teacher's Permit issued by State of California Commission on Teacher Credentialing, including a minimum of three (3) units of infant/toddler coursework.

• Previous experience working with infants in a childcare setting preferred.

• Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

• Must pass background check and TB test.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
