You will be working with children in a home daycare setting and teaching Early Learning withing the planning and organizing plans for age appropriate lessons. The teacher will be responsible for safety, and providing redirection, care and be nurturing to the children and kind. There is a schedule to adhere to that is simple and would align with our philosophy at FHDM. You would need reliable transportation, be on time for the interview and on time ready for work 7-4:30 or 5:30 pm EST , an Indiana, or Michigan license.

The program we offer is comfortable like home In many ways and we nurture and impart how we are to work together, learn and enjoy the day. This is reflected in our daily plan time that encompasses a planned routine in place as follows. Circle time, Story, Small group/Craft, Play Time, Literacy, Bible, Rest Time, Play Time, Story, lastly, leaving for Home. As you can see this routine gives the child a sense of comfort and along with fun planned activities.

As a vital part of our team you must pass a drug screen, get a skin TB test, get a physical from your doctor and have completed your ILead training modules 1,2,3,4 Universal Precautions, Infant Sids1&2, Abuse and Neglect modules. If you have a Early Learning Certificate that is a plus, we would like to speak with you. If you complete the medical requirements, and provide the documentation for the TB Test, 5 panel non DOT drug screen, and provide 30 days of work, FHDM will reimburse the costs of those 2 out of the 3 requirements.
