PRIMARY ROLE OBJECTIVE:
The Director of Pharmacy works in tandem with the pharmacy team while overseeing the department to ensure operations meet professional standards of care and legal requirements. The Director of Pharmacy serves as an active member of the interdisciplinary clinical team working to develop the clinical pharmacy function at FHC. The Director of Pharmacy works closely with the Pharmacy Operations Manager to ensure that all pharmacy operations are carried out in a compliant and fiscally sound manner that meets the goals and objectives of Family Health Centers.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Directly supervises all licensed Pharmacists (including PIC, Clinical Pharmacists, etc.) Provides support to the Pharmacists and Pharmacy Operations Manager in supervising their respective areas for the pharmacy support staff.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) Degree
ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS:
Valid Washington State Pharmacist License
Ability to be credentialed as a Pharmacist in the state of WA
