Family Health Centers of San Diego is Hiring a Transportation Coordinator (Maintenance) Near San Diego, CA

Family Health Centers of San Diego (FHCSD) is looking for a Coordinator, Transportation Maintenance. Due to the significant increase of patient services that FHCSD provides healthcare-related services for, there has been an increased demand for transportation accommodation services resulting in the growth of the FHCSD fleet and maintenance requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all needed repairs of vehicles with vendors to include vehicle deliveries to auto repair shops.
  • Coordinate all vehicle deliveries to departments across FHCSD.
  • Responsible for overseeing fleet maintenance operations through rotation of vehicles requiring maintenance.
  • Coordinate, maintain, and oversee fleet maintenance safety policies, procedures and practices.
  • In conjunction with the Fleet Coordinator, execute preventive maintenance services.
  • Inspect, confirm and ensure fleet drivers meet all requirements related to operating vehicles within Transportation Services related to inspections and vehicle condition.
  • In collaboration with the Fleet Coordinator, confirm driver training is completed.
  • In collaboration with the Fleet Coordinator, confirm vehicle inspections are completed and uploaded into the tracking system daily.
  • May support and assist with insurance claims with vehicle inspections and photo documentation.
  • Inspect the drivers hired to ensure completion and updates regarding their training and participate in ride along evaluations.
  • When necessary, responsible for substituting as a driver for absentee drivers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED Equivalent required.
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the skills, knowledge and ability to perform the essential job duties, and which meets any required state or federal certification requirements.

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
