Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions may include, but are not limited to the following:
Provide identified services to clients per plan of care, life skills training, engage social supports within the community, coach basic health & safety skills.
Provide collaboration and advocacy for positive client outcomes.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with both internal and external customers.
Keeps current with all required trainings and certifications.
Reaches productivity standards set for this clinical role.
10% Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
Minimum Education:
High School Diploma or G.E.D. Life Skills Coach must be 23 years or older with at least one year of experience preferred.
Minimum Experience:Minimum Knowledge and Skills:
Experience: No specific requirements necessary. However, preference given to candidate with experience with recovery and families.
Sensitive and flexible when dealing with adults, adolescents, and children. Recovery Specialist must demonstrate knowledge of identification of needs, symptoms, and behaviors of individuals served.

Mental:Good judgment is required.
Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing with the treatment team as well as outside agencies. Must be able to engage in cooperative relationships.
Physical:Must pass Family Health Center’s physical exam.
Working Conditions:Clean well-lighted, heated, and ventilated office. Will also work in the family’s home, other community agencies, and transport clients by car and/or van.
