Position Summary: The Director of Behavioral Health and Social Services provides oversight and leadership for the behavioral health and social/enabling services needed by health center patients and functions as the Clinical Director of Behavioral Health Services. The Director works with medical leadership to plan and coordinate integrated care for health center patients and collaborates with health center leadership to promote high quality care and service at all health center sites and programs.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintains working knowledge of and adhere to the program Manual, agency handbook and Policies and Procedures - Commitment to providing cost conscious, fiscally responsible, timely, efficient, effective, safe, patient-centered, culturally competent, equitable, and participatory health care.
- Attends required all trainings as per Agency Policy, Program Manual and Funder Guidelines.
- Arrives on time for work; remains at work for whole shift; regular and predicable attendance.
- Maintains appropriate boundaries and ethical standards with staff, clients, visitors, and outside providers as detailed in Agency Policy.
- Maintains positive and professional working relationship with co-workers, managers, clients, visitors and outside providers

Program Specific Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesQualifications and Education Requirements One of the following combinations of education and employment experience must be met in order to be considered for the position: Education | And | Experience | Master of Social Services, Doctorate of Social Work, PH.D (Doctorate of Philosophy) or PsyD (Doctorate of Psychologist) Licensure: LICSW or Licensed Psychologist | | Minimum of five years full-time professional clinical experience with at least two years of program supervision. Bilingual in English and Spanish or another language appropriate to the health center’s patient population strongly preferred. |
