Family Health Care is currently seeking candidates for the position of Behavioral Health Office Assistant!

General Function:

• Assists the Chief of Behavioral Health and Integrated Services (CBIS) with School-Based Behavioral Health funded services and Behavioral Health departmental management requirements.
• Duties include, but are not limited to: patient registration, insurance verification, electronic health record data entry and recording statistical data for the department, scheduling and organizing meetings, assisting needs of behavioral health staff, assistance in ordering department supplies and engaging in community summer outreach programming, submission of contracts, and responding to external data requests for FHC projects as assigned.
• Knowledgeable of HIPAA and Confidentiality Rules and routinely observes and applies these in performance of job responsibilities.
• Performs all responsibilities according to best practices in the field and reflecting the mission and vision of Family Health Care.
