Job Summary:

As a Furniture Store Warehouse Worker, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our warehouse and ensure that our customers receive their furniture in excellent condition. You will be responsible for various tasks, including removing stock from aisles, opening, building, and inspecting furniture. Additionally, you will occasionally assist with furniture deliveries to customers' homes, setting up the purchased furniture.

Responsibilities:

Stock Management:Efficiently remove furniture stock from aisles to fulfill customer orders.
Safely handle and transport furniture items within the warehouse.
Maintain organized and clean work areas.

Furniture Assembly and Inspection:Open and assemble furniture items, ensuring they meet quality standards.
Conduct thorough inspections to identify any defects or damages.
Report any quality issues or damages to the Warehouse Supervisor.

Customer Deliveries:Assist in delivering furniture to customers' homes as needed.
Set up and arrange furniture according to the customer's specifications.
Provide exceptional customer service during the delivery process.

Safety and Compliance:Adhere to all safety guidelines and warehouse procedures.
Use protective equipment and handle furniture with care to prevent damages and accidents.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Inventory Management:Maintain accurate records of furniture inventory levels.
Assist in periodic inventory counts and stock replenishment.

Reliable Transportation:Must have reliable transportation to commute to and from work.

Team Collaboration:Work collaboratively with other warehouse team members to meet operational goals.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and other departments.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in a warehouse or furniture-related role is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy furniture items.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 38 per week
