Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Nursing Assistant, you will provide essential support and care to patients under the supervision of registered nurses or other medical professionals. Your primary responsibility will be to assist with daily activities and ensure the comfort and well-being of patients. Duties: - Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding - Assist patients with mobility and transfers - Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff - Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals - Assist with sterile processing and maintaining a clean and safe environment - Provide specialized care for patients in various settings such as nursing homes, critical care units, or home care - Support patients with dementia or cognitive impairments by providing emotional support and engaging in therapeutic activities - Perform venipuncture, gastric lavage, spinal tap, and other medical procedures as required Experience: - Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant or similar role is preferred but not required - Familiarity with primary care practices and procedures - Knowledge of sterile processing techniques and infection control protocols - Experience working in nursing homes or critical care units is a plus - Ability to provide compassionate care for patients with dementia or cognitive impairments Skills: - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals - Excellent organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently - Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other healthcare professionals - Attention to detail to accurately document patient information and follow instructions If you are passionate about providing high-quality patient care and making a positive impact on the lives of others, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position.
