Solo practice (not big box or corporate) needs outgoing motivated individual to greet patients, check patients in/out, file, answer phone, pull insurance benefits on line, work with patients on frame selection. Skills needed are computer savvy, multitasking ability. Nurturing, warm office culture. Hours flexible.

Qualifications
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Experience in patient care and handling vital signs
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations
- Familiarity in using EMR systems
- Previous experience in optical settings
- Ability to handle front desk duties and medical billing/coding
- Excellent computer skills and familiarity with retail math

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 32 per week
