Family Eye Care Center is Hiring an Optician Near Weatherford, TX

Family Eye Care Center is a well-known and established eye care practice located in Weatherford, TX. We are searching for an Optician to join our growing team of eye care professionals. In this role, you will use your ophthalmic knowledge, friendly demeanor, and on-going training to create great customer experiences and recommend solutions for all patient's eyewear needs.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Creates outstanding and memorable patient experiences with the selection and dispensing of eyewear
  • Tracks order to ensure timely delivery to patients
  • Troubleshoot and problem solve to achieve satisfactory visual acuities
  • Records and maintains patient records / files in compliance with company, federal, and state policies (HIPAA)
  • Participates in store meetings / projects as requested
  • Ensures optimized scheduling occurs thru pre-appointment confirmation, daily appointment confirmation, contacting patients from recall listings,
  • Calls all no shows or cancelled patients to reschedule appointments a
  • Performs end of day responsibilities to include end of day checklist, etc.
  • Performs other duties within the store as requested and as time allows

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
