Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Wellness Coordinator to join our team. As a Wellness Coordinator, you will be responsible for promoting and implementing wellness programs and initiatives to improve the overall health and well-being of our employees. You will work closely with individuals to provide personalized guidance, education, and support in achieving their wellness goals. Responsibilities: - Develop and implement wellness programs, initiatives, and activities to promote healthy lifestyles - Conduct assessments to identify individual wellness needs and goals - Provide personalized guidance and support to individuals in achieving their wellness goals - Educate employees on various aspects of health and wellness, including nutrition, exercise, stress management, and mental health - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans for individuals with specific health conditions or needs - Conduct group fitness classes, such as yoga or other exercise programs - Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to encourage behavior change and adherence to wellness plans - Monitor progress of individuals and provide ongoing support and encouragement - Coordinate with external vendors or partners to provide additional resources or services as needed Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Health Promotion, Exercise Science, Nutrition) - Certification in personal training, health coaching, or related field is preferred - Experience in developing and implementing wellness programs or initiatives - Knowledge of behavioral health principles and strategies for behavior change - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate and engage with individuals from diverse backgrounds - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team Skills: - Personal training - Educate on health and wellness topics - Health coaching - Yoga instruction - Motivational interviewing techniques - Development of care plans for specific health conditions or needs - Behavioral health principles for behavior change - Weight loss strategies We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
