Family Emergency Rooms is Hiring a Patent Registration Representative - Full Time Day shift Near Millard, NE

We are looking for someone that exhibits excitement and eagerness to learn, grow, and take on new challenges. Being that our Patient Registration Representatives are the first point of contact and often, the "Face" of our company, it is imperative that the candidate display open, friendly, and enthusiastic verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
This is a fulltime position day that consists of 12-hour shifts / 3 shifts per week.
What you will do:
. Handle all inquiries upon patient intake
Basic Computer knowledge
Ensure patient demographics are fully completed and input into the system
Obtain patient signed statements/forms
Insurance data entry and eligibility
Collect balances due at time of check out
Direct patients to relevant areas of building
. Direct all medical inquires to the clinical team
High quality phone etiquette
Disseminates information as needed
Keep admission desk and lobby clean and organized
Maintain good working relationships both within the department and within other departments.
Adheres to no set department schedule
Stand while welcoming patients to The Family Emergency Room
Maintain under a 35% audit error rate with completion of a mock code
Actively promote and sell Cage Free Care membership programs
Offer prompt pay discounts where applicable
Provide patients with a detailed explanation of our billing process prior to discharge
Attend departmental meetings as scheduled
Obtain and maintain strong working knowledge of healthcare insurance reimbursements
