Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to join our team as a Medical Scribe. As a Medical Scribe, you will work closely with healthcare professionals to accurately document patient encounters and assist with medical office tasks. Duties:
- Accurately transcribe and document patient encounters, including medical histories, physical examinations, procedures, and treatments
- Enter patient information into electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Assist healthcare professionals with medical office tasks, such as scheduling appointments, managing paperwork, and organizing patient records
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure accurate and timely documentation
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Stay up-to-date with medical terminology, procedures, and guidelines
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Excellent typing skills and ability to accurately transcribe medical documentation
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and other computer applications
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with healthcare professionals and patients
- Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred but not required
Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
