Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will provide support to the dentist and help ensure efficient and high-quality dental care for our patients. This is a full-time position. Our office is open Monday through Friday. Our office hours are: Monday 9am - 4pm, Tuesday 7am - 2pm, Wednesday 7am -2pm, Thursday 7am-2pm, Friday 9am - 2pm.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing the treatment area, sterilizing instruments, and handing instruments to the dentist
- Take and record vital signs of patients
- Perform patient assessments, including medical history review and oral health evaluation
- Take digital dental x-rays for the dentist's review
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and patient charts
- Assist with dental receptionist duties, such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and managing patient records, in down times.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality

Experience:
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not required
- Proficiency in using dental software systems
- Knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy practices
- Experience in taking dental x-rays
- Understanding of medical records management and documentation
- Knowledge of medical coding and billing processes is a plus

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
