We are seeking a skilled and experienced Front Desk Receptionist to join our dental office located in Margate, FL. As the first point of contact for our patients, the ideal candidate should possess exceptional customer service skills, be proficient with the Open Dental, and have fluency in both English and Spanish.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and visitors warmly and ensure a positive first impression of the dental office.
  • Answer incoming calls, schedule appointments, and manage the appointment calendar efficiently.
  • Verify patient information, insurance details, and update records as necessary.
  • Collect and process patient payments, co-payments, and insurance claims accurately.
  • Assist patients with completing necessary forms and paperwork.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized front desk area, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment.
  • Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow and timely assistance.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, providing information on services, treatments, and any required preparations.
  • Manage patient records and confidential information with utmost discretion and confidentiality.
  • Handle inquiries, resolve concerns, and provide general information to patients both in person and over the phone.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize office operations and patient experience.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a front desk receptionist in a dental or medical setting is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using Open Dental or similar dental practice management software.
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Reliable transportation to ensure punctuality and attendance during scheduled work hours.
  • Flexibility to work the specified schedule, including some Saturday mornings.
  • Basic knowledge of dental procedures, treatments, and terminology is a plus.
