- Create and manage the desktop strategy.
- Administer and manage the operational system, Tanium.
- Act as tier 3 level support for issue escalation and problem solving.
- Keep system imaging up to date and current with OS, patches, drivers, and apps.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and workflows to streamline desktop provisioning, configuration, and management tasks.
- Set standards for all desktop computing hardware, software, and processes.
- Keep abreast of new desktop emerging technologies.
- Provide strategic direction, budgeting, and planning to maintain the health of the physical network.
- Manage lifecycle of all desktop equipment.
- Work with key strategic partners to maintain effective relations, pricing, acquisitions, and support.
- Maintain and protect desktop security including but not limited to hard drive encryption, virus protection, etc.
- Work with peers in the Engineering group to maintain synergies across the IT ecosystem.
- Document and diagram the desktop ecosystem.
- Provide and/or assist in the project management of technology related projects.
- Perform special projects as the need arises.
- Research and resolve systems issues.
