FAMILY CENTRAL INC is Hiring an Assistant Teacher Near North Miami, FL
As an Assistant Teacher your responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Helping the teacher in the daily group and individual activities that are developmentally appropriate to meet the needs and interest of the children using the assigned curriculum.
- Assisting with activities designed to promote physical, mental and social development, such as games, arts and crafts, music, and storytelling.
- Interacting with each child on a daily basis through circle time, centers, snacks, lunchtime, playground, free play, etc.
Skills/Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old with a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent required, and at least one (1) year of experience in a licensed childcare center.
- Must possess the DCF 45 hours of Childcare Licensing training, and an active child care staff credential (CDA).
- Must have a CPR and First Aid Certification or must obtain certification upon hire.
- Must possess a caring and nurturing attitude towards children and excellent customer service skills.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
- Must have reliable transportation.
