Family Care Health Centers is Hiring an IT Technician Near St. Louis, MO

Are you an IT professional who is looking to work in a community health center setting?

Do you have the knowledge and skillset to manage networks, systems, and enterprise information?

If so, Family Care Health Centers is on the hunt for top talent. We are looking to complete our IT team with an IT Technician, who will work as an integral role in our care team environment. IT technicians are responsible for reviewing the performance of IT system to determine operating costs, productivity levels, and upgrade requirements.

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Performs remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions.
  • Determines the best solution based on the issue and etails provided by employees.
  • Walks the employee through the problem-solving process.
  • Directs unresolved issues to the next level of support services.
  • Records events and problems and their resolution in a ticketing system.
  • Identifies and suggest possible improvements on procedures.
  • Understands networking and system concepts and can work with the IT Director to design and implement improvements.

IT Technician Requirements:

  • BS/AS degree in IT, Computer Science or related field – REQUIRED.
  • Proven experience as a help desk technician or other customer support role.
  • Expressible understanding of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System in an Ambulatory care environment (Preferably EPIC).
  • Tech savvy with working knowledge of Microsoft office products.
  • Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP).
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues based on workstation symptoms.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Organized and able to manage multiple competing projects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $26.81 per hour
