We are seeking a full-time, licensed Nurse Practitioner to join our established Rheumatology care center in Jupiter, FL located near Jupiter Medical Center, easy access to highways, and beautiful beaches. Jupiter is home of the famous Jupiter Lighthouse, dog-friendly beaches, world-class golf courses, and a laid-back lifestyle!

Our care center has 3 Physicians and 4 Advanced Practice Providers, 12 exam rooms, a state-of-the-art Infusion Suite with 4 chairs, X-Rays, clinical research, injections, and a dedicated staff. We specialize in treating general Rheumatology, Rheumatoid arthritis, Osteoporosis, Gout, Lupus, Osteoarthritis, Fibromyalgia, and more.

Responsibilities:

• Examine patients and their medical records
• Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays etc.)
• Diagnose and Propose treatments for autoimmune and arthritic diseases
• Prescribe medications and IV Infusion Treatments as needed
• Maintain accurate records and schedules
• Inform patients about their health conditions and prescribed medications
• Educate patients and their family members on diseases, epidemics and prevention
• Oversee patients’ overall health
• Promote good health practices
• Advance professional knowledge and conduct research
• Other duties as assigned by collaborating physician

Requirements:

• 2yr experience as a Nurse Practitioner in Rheumatology, Internal Medicine, Orthopedics, or Primary Care preferred
• Bilingual - English and Spanish preferred
• ER or ICU Experience as a Registered Nurse preferred
• Active Florida Nurse Practitioner & DEA licensure
• Knowledge of health and patient care regulations
• Excellent communication skills, verbal, and written.
• Strong ethics
• Team spirit with a positive attitude, patience and cool-headedness
• Willingness to continue gaining knowledge and clinical experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
