Job Description

Family Ark provides individual and family therapy services to youth and families in southern Indiana. Our newest program, the Lotus House, is a transitional housing program for pregnant and parenting mothers in recovery. The Lotus House Program Supervisor provides support and instruction to recovery support staff regarding day-to-day program structure. This position reports to the Lotus House Program Manager.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Directs oversight of day-to-day program functioning and milieu.
• Participates in ongoing program development and continuous quality improvement.
• Monitors staff performance and provides the resources and staff development necessary to reach program goals.
• Ensures the program is carried out with a trauma-informed care perspective and that fidelity standards for any relevant evidence-based practices are met.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling or related field
• Two years of professional experience in the human services field
• Ability to lead and coordinate team activities
• Two years supervisory experience
• Strong analytic, problem solving and organizational skills
• Ability to interact effectively with referral sources, families, clients and co-workers at an individual and committee level
• Must demonstrate a commitment to quality performance and service excellence
• Supervisory experience in a group/residential setting preferred
• Experience working with addiction and recovery populations preferred
