Overview:
Join our veterinary team as a Veterinary Assistant and contribute to providing exceptional care for animals. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about animal welfare and veterinary medicine.
Duties:
-Check clients in and out
-Answer phones
-Filing
-Schedule appointments
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and surgeries
- Handle and restrain animals during procedures
- Perform basic laboratory procedures such as blood draws and sample collection
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic and kennel areas
- Provide support in radiography.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a veterinary setting or animal care preferred
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and animal handling
- Familiarity with animal catheterization procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team setting
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Proficiency in laboratory tasks related to veterinary care

Pay: $14.50 - $17.00 per hour
