Families First of Palm Beach County is seeking an Infant Mental Health Clinician/Head Start Population.

The Infant Mental Health Clinician partners with Head Start and Early Head Start teacher and center staff to engage children who are referred to the therapeutic early childhood intervention. The children for the clinical intervention are toddlers and children ages 2-5 in their classroom setting or with their primary caregivers. The Clinician provides consultation to teachers in early childcare and education settings, parent workshops at the Head Start Centers, individual assessment of children identified with behavioral/emotional challenges and individual treatment plans or classroom coaching for staff. The clinician will work closely with center staff and Families First IMH Supervisor to learn, implement, and teach strategies for intervention with young children including conscious discipline, play therapy, psychoeducation, and family sessions. The clinician will work with an RCMA Head Start Site as well as some others in the community catering interventions to the needs of the children and center.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EOE, DFWP, E verify, Level II Background Screening, and school district background check.
