FAMILIES AND COMMUNITIES RISING INC is Hiring a Talent Acquisition Coordinator - Temporary Near Durham, NC

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator (TAC) is responsible for sourcing, attracting, and interviewing prospective employees to find the ideal match for the agency?s long-term goals. An essential concept for this role is understanding that individual staff play a significant role and will be key components of the ongoing of success of the program.
The TAC position is one of direct involvement with the program director and human resources staff in overall recruitment efforts, refinement of existing procedures and or implementation of new procedures and maintaining data collection for assessment of program efforts. Coordinator has further responsibility for ensuring that the agency recruits a diversified set of qualified candidates. Coordinator will devise and implement sourcing strategies, including employer branding initiatives designed for long-term success in building referral and recruitment pipelines and community partnerships.
The successful TAC must first understand the requirements for each role in the programs. All work must be aligned to requirements outlined in applicable program regulations, FCR mission and vision, and in compliance with all state and local rules and regulations.
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is expected to enhance collaboration with staff, families, and community partners to build positive relationships to meet agency/program needs.
General Staff Responsibilities:
1. Participate in staff meetings, attend conferences, training/workshops, and meet continuing education standards as required.
2. Demonstrate familiarity with and commitment to Families & Communities Rising, Inc. (FCR) policies and procedures, and FCR Vision and Mission.
3. Maintain congenial and respectful relations with staff, children, families, and community.
4. Maintain confidentiality regarding staff and applicant information.
5. Keep current and accurate records.
6. Fulfill role as mandated reporter as stated in FCR programs? Child Abuse and Neglect Policy and maintain confidentiality.
7. Contribute in a positive and productive manner to the general services and performance of FCR, Inc., and the FCR programs,
8. Flexible to accommodate changes in job responsibilities.
9. Commit to ongoing program quality improvement as it relates to the following program-wide systems: Program Governance, Program Planning, Family Recruitment, Communication, Record-Keeping and Reporting, Ongoing Monitoring, Self-Assessment, Human Resources and Fiscal Management.
10. Embrace advancing technology to improve job performance and productivity.
11. Commit to reflective supervision as a cornerstone of program and staff development.
Major Duties/Functions/Responsibilities:
1. Coordinating with hiring managers to identify staffing needs
2. Sourcing potential candidates through online channels (e.g., social platforms and professional networks.)
3. Hosting or participating in career events, job fairs, staff recruitment, and networking events
4. Develop long-term recruiting strategies and nurture trusting relationships with potential hires
5. Planning interview and selection procedures including screening calls, assessments and in-person interviews
6. Assess candidate information, including resumes and contact details, using our applicant tracking system
7. Assess candidate compatibility using or applicant assessment system
8. Design or use job descriptions and interview questions from our assessment system that reflect each position?s requirements
9. Edit, refine, create, and re-create, documents, materials, charts, and tools to effectively execute the expectations of the position
10. Forecast hiring needs as it relates to program year needs, but at least quarterly and annually
11. Regular and ongoing review of program operations to understand program goals and staffing needs and ensure coordination and alignment with requirements outlined in program regulations, FCR Mission and Vision, and compliance with all state and local rules and regulations
12. Ensure timely processing of job postings and applicant materials
13. Work with other staff to achieve the overall department and program goals, and quality service delivery to program participants.
14. Participate in applicable program meetings to ensure awareness of program goals and needs, and knowledge and understanding of service area functions.
15. Participate in scheduled program recruitment/enrollment events during the year to assist with overall program community outreach and build internal program relationships
16. Maintain congenial working relationship with staff and community partners
17. Maintain knowledge of current recruitment, hiring and other industry trends
18. Maintain knowledge of and or membership in various networking hubs, groups and or platforms for outreach to candidates
19. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications and Knowledge/Skills Required:
? Minimum of an associate degree in human resources, business management, marketing, sociology, or related field with coursework
? Bachelor?s degree preferred
? Minimum 3 years working knowledge and experience in direct recruitment or human resources
? Prefer relevant experience and direct work in diverse communities
? Proven written, verbal communication, and basic math skills
? Ability to work independently, with limited supervision
? Proven data management and record keeping ability
? Relevant software and technology skills including word processing, spreadsheet, and internet use for business purposes, and preparation of relevant reports
? Ability to actively participate in long-and short-term planning for service area and program needs
? Knowledge of Head Start Performance Standards (HSPS), local, state, and national childcare, and other applicable guides and standards - preferred
