Brief Summary of Purpose:

Information Management Analyst I is a key contributor to the success of the Business Intelligence & Analytics team. You will work with business partners/stakeholders to gather, analyze and clearly document business requirements. Information Management Analyst I completes activities related to the development and support of business data management solutions on small to medium projects. You will be the liaison between the business users and the BI Team and other IT resources, responsible for ensuring business and data requirements are defined, documented and translated into technical requirements to facilitate the design/build and delivery of business intelligence solutions.

Responsibilities

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Gather and document business and data requirements in support of business solutions, including business requirement, data analysis, business rules.
• Collaborate with the Design and Development Team during technical design, programming, and initial testing phases of projects
• Develop the high-level testing plan based on documented requirements. Create test plans and queries to be used for and document the test results and the desired outcomed.
• Create test plans and queries to be used for validation and documenting the test results.
• Validate the output against the business requirements and identify gaps and defects.
• Support processes aligned to data information management standards to ensure data integrity and the quality of the work produced and requirements are developed.
• Provide support throughout data lifecycle to resolve data issues and support user community by helping users interpret the data.
• Adhere to enterprise frameworks or methodologies that relate to data activities for business areas.
• Analyze data from various sources and identify patterns and trends to answer questions, solve business concerns and provide insights for data-driven decision making.
• Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and optimization within team and end user work flows and product functionality

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.

License/Certifications:

N/A

Experience:

• 1 years of experience with business, data and technical requirements gathering
• 1 years business and data analysis or related experience.
• 1 years of experience using Structured Query Languages (SQL, T-SQL, etc.) Preferred.
• 1 of experience with software delivery (Business and Data Analysis, Requirements Gathering, Testing, and/or Project Coordination).
• Understanding of data warehousing, business intelligence and relational database concepts and technologies.
• Organization and presentation skills
• Strong analytical skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously.
