Fall River Foundry CNC Department 2nd Shift Foreman is responsible for ensuring all the machine operators are working in a safe manner and following safety protocols. The foreman is also responsible for ensuring the quality of production parts and production efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC machining processes, exceptional leadership abilities and a strong eye for detail. Qualifications:

· Minimum of three years of experience in CNC machining, with at least one year in a supervisory or leadership role.

· Ability to work 3:30 P.M. to 2:00 A.M. Monday - Friday.

· Must possess good written and verbal communication skills.

· Must possess problem-solving skills.

· Must be able to follow both written and verbal instructions.

· Must have basic knowledge of cutting tools and cutting tool nomenclature.

· Must have knowledge of tool geometry and ability to make offsets.

· Must possess basic blueprint reading skills.

· Must possess basic hand tool measuring experience (I.E: calipers, micrometers, depth mics and bore gages).

· Experience with Fanuc and Okuma CNC controls is a plus.

· Experience with robots is a plus.

· Experience operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) is a plus.

Responsibilities:

· Supervise the CNC machine operators to ensure safety, quality, and the efficiency of production.

· Change cutting tools when necessary.

· Inspect parts for dimensions and visual defects.

· Monitor the inspection reports from the CMM and adjust machining when necessary.

· Follow the production schedule.

· Work with Maintenance Technician on machine issues and repair.
