Falk, Waas, Hernandez, Solomon, Mendlestein & Davis, P.A., an insurance defense, medical malpractice defense firm, seeks an experienced full-time insurance defense paralegal.
- Preparing and drafting correspondence and pleadings;
- Answering and propounding discovery;
- Issuing and following up on subpoenas;
- Scheduling, coordinating and confirming hearings, depositions and mediations;
- E-filing with State/Federal courts
- Minimum of 5 years of experience
Interested candidates must be punctual, detailed oriented with ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to take the initiative in handling projects and anticipating what needs to be done. Ability to understand and follow specific and detailed instructions in oral and written form. Knowledge of state and federal court rules and e-filing procedures. Excellent typing skills, Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and document management applications (preferably Prolaw but not required).
