Job Title: Project Manager with BA on Legal

Location:Remote (need to occasionally travel to LA and Oakland Offices)

Job description

Staff Minimum Qualifications

1. The proposed staff must have a minimum of five (5) years (full time) experience gathering and documenting business workflows and legal or court case management system functional and technical requirements.
2. The proposed staff must have a minimum of two (2) years (full time) experience with court case management systems.
3. The proposed staff must have a minimum of three (3) years full time of experience facilitating sessions with multiple stakeholders dealing with highly regulated, complex processes.
4. The proposed staff must have a minimum of three (3) years full time experience in defining process metrics and key performance indicators.
5. The proposed staff must have a minimum of three (3) years full time experience in communicating complex business rules and regulations.
6. Specific qualifications exist for the Project Manager (or equivalent classification) and Business Analyst (or equivalent classification) roles:

i. Ensure the project is compliant with the policies set forth by the California Department of Technology (CDT) Project Approval Lifecycle (PAL) which includes creation and approval of documents such as the Stage 1 Business Analysis (S1BA) and the Stage 2 Alternative Analysis (S2AA).

ii. Lead the planning and execution of the project.

iii. Manage project risks and issues.

iv. Prepare monthly Project Status reports.

v. Inform project stakeholders of project status and escalate project risks and issues.

vi. Write and/or split user stories. (Epics/Features)

vii. Be familiar with the team’s work (i.e., the product).

viii. Facilitate the communication needed with the team and customer.

ix. Support DGS staff on impediment management.
