    New teaching/new licensed staff orientation will be held on July 24 & 25, 2024
    Experience:
    District 49 credits each year of verified full-time/full-year K-12 teaching experience up to 20 years.
    Work Schedule:
    182 contracted work days
    Benefits:
    This position is eligible for benefits including group insurance (health, dental and vision), paid sick and personal leave and elective retirement savings plans. Benefit details can be found here.
    Salary:
    The minimum starting pay is $50,059/year and the maximum salary is $85,004/year. Initial pay placement is dependent on level of formal education and years of relevant experience (the maximum credit granted is 20 years).

    • BA/BS from accredited college or university
    • Valid Colorado teaching license endorsed in area of assignment: Music OR
      • a valid CO licensed endorsed in another area AND passing exam scores on the PRAXIS II - exam #5114 only OR
      • a valid CO license endorsed in another area - HR to review transcripts and make determination OR
      • a valid CO license endorsed in another area and a BA/BS or higher major in Music - HR to review transcripts and make determination
