    .6 PART-TIME SECONDARY MATH TEACHER - FALCON HOMESCHOOL PROGRAMStarting Date:

    New Teacher/Licensed Staff Orientation:
    New teaching/new licensed staff orientation will be held on July 24 & 25, 2024
    Experience:
    District 49 credits each year of verified full-time/full-year K-12 teaching experience up to 20 years.
    Work Schedule:
    182 contracted work days (adjusted for part-time FTE)
    Benefits:
    This position is eligible for benefits including group insurance (health, dental and vision), paid sick and personal leave and elective retirement savings plans. Benefit details can be found here.
    Salary:
    The minimum starting pay is $28,202*/year and the maximum salary is $45,295*/year. Initial pay placement is dependent on level of formal education and years of relevant experience (the maximum credit granted is 20 years).
    • Salary is based on 2023-2024 pay schedule and is subject to change. Salary is on a 0.6 FTE.

    Qualifications and Expectations:
    • BA/BS from accredited college or university
    • Valid Colorado teaching license endorsed in area of assignment: Secondary Mathematics OR
      • a valid CO licensed endorsed in another area AND passing exam scores on the CO PLACE - Math (test administered on or before May 6, 2017 with score of 220 or higher) or PRAXIS II - Mathematics OR
      • a valid CO license endorsed in another area - HR to review transcripts and make determination OR
      • a valid CO license endorsed in another area and a BA/BS or higher major in Mathematics - HR to review transcripts and make determination
    Preferred Qualifications and Expectations:
    • One to three (1-3) years of experience teaching
    • Experience with homeschooled students, Blended Learning, Flipped Classrooms, Curriculum Writing, and Differentiated Instruction
