Falcon Farms Inc. is Hiring a Maintenance Supervisor Miami Near Doral, FL

This person will be responsible for troubleshooting, fixing, and maintaining equipment. This person will support and enable preventative maintenance. This person is expected to learn basic maintenance skills and complete related tasks as needed.

Above all you will be expected to carry out all your activities with reliability, integrity, compliance and in a safe, environmentally responsible, and efficient manner.

This hands-on position is responsible for the coordination, supervision and execution of all maintenance work needed to ensure continuous operation of all electrical, plumbing, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical and electrical systems within the facility. Responsibilities also include the maintenance of the building and the exterior grounds. This position is responsible to provide leadership to ensure a secure and safe work environment

We require a high degree of care and attention to detail, to maintain the high standards of service.

  • Coordinate efficient operation of and manage repairs and maintenance projects, including plumbing, electrical and general building repairs.
  • Maintain an inventory of supplies and equipment necessary for maintenance tasks.
  • Requisition materials, tools and equipment needed to complete all jobs that are both recurring and when systems or equipment fail.
  • Develop and execute all maintenance programs.
  • Ensure all facilities, shops, rolling stock and equipment are kept clean at all times.
  • Execute maintenance activities.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the maintenance team.
  • Development and implementation of support systems to aid in maintenance task completion and documentation
  • Develop and maintain maintenance reporting metrics related to costs, parts, labor and customer support.
  • Implement and support preventative maintenance programs
  • Support maintenance purchasing by following guidelines and writing and submitting capital expenditure.
  • Ability to inspect, install, repair and maintain electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic control systems
  • Oversee and manage the maintenance operations
  • Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance and repairs
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs with external vendors if necessary
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and ensure proper functioning of equipment and systems
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment manuals, and inventory
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and minimize downtime
  • Proven experience in multi-unit maintenance or facilities management
  • Ability to read schematics and technical manuals
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions
  • Flexibility to work different shifts/days, and be on call to respond to critical situations
