About Us:

A wholesale nursery with locations in Washington and Oregon is looking for an experienced Controller who will manage the administrative and accounting staff.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Manage monthly reconciliation process including bank accounts, A/R, inventory, A/P, credit cards, etc.
• Prepare internal monthly financial statements
• Multi-state tax reporting
• Manage payroll functions
• Plan administrator for qualified plans and respond to employee’s questions on 401k plan
• Manage asset protection and insurance programs, including both benefit and business insurance, and risk management activities
• Manage all aspects of relationships with firms, banks, and other commercial lenders
• Supply information and work with the CPA for year-end financial statement and tax preparation/planning
• Work with managers on sales projections and profit analysis
• Other duties, as required

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or business. Experience in accounting may be substituted year-for-year for education.
