POSITION OVERVIEW

Primary function is to maintain a variety of warehouse duties including but not limited to receiving and processing orders, managing, and rotating inventory, loading and shipping product, and maintaining good housekeeping skills and safe standards.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Receive and process incoming orders and provide thorough documentation.
2. Follow safety precautions when operating equipment.
3. Manage inventory count and ensure all products are rotated regularly.
4. Loading product and preparing product for delivery to our customers.
5. Read and understand delivery tickets in order to pull orders correctly and efficiently.
6. Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
7. Display general knowledge of safety and regulatory rules for working in warehouse conditions.
8. Follow and adhere to all standard operating procedures for warehouse tasks.
9. Good customer service skills are a must.
10. Prompt and regular attendance is essential.
11. Overtime may be required.
12. Any other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience

• Preferred – One or more years of warehouse experience.
• Preferred – Experience operating a standup forklift or standard forklift.
• Required – High School Diploma or GED.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Knowledge of how to operate warehousing equipment such as forklift, pallet racking, ramps, and carts.
• Self-motivation to complete daily tasks and procedures.
• Ability to provide thorough documentation regarding deliveries and shipments.
• Possess an understanding of appropriate inventory controls including rotation, counting, and storage.
• Capability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• Ability to follow directions and ability to work with little to no supervision.
• Perform basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
