Certified Pharmacy Technician

$20/HR--35HRS=$700/Week*8HR Shift (9am-5:30pm) *4 Week Contract (extension available)

Responsibilities:

• Assisting pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medication to patients.
• Managing inventory and ordering supplies.
• Processing prescriptions and insurance claims.
• Providing customer service and answering phone inquiries.
• Compounding medications under the supervision of a pharmacist.
• Maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy environment.
• Adhering to pharmacy regulations and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a pharmacy technician training program.
• Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) by passing a certification exam.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical calculations and measurements.
• Familiarity with pharmacy software and computer systems.
